Jesse E. Benson, 75, former Hancock county resident, died in Toledo, Dec 31, 1944. The son of Abraham and Louisa Benson, he was born March 5, 1869.
He is survived by a son, Coyle Benson of Swanton; a brother, Wilbert Benson, Liberty Township and a sister, Mrs. Anna Hummell, Grand Rapids and four grandchildren.
Services were held in the Benton Ridge Evangelical church. Rev. E. T. Shepard officiated. Burial followed in Flick cemetery.
