Mary Gladys Ferguson, age 91 of Harrogate, TN was born on March 6, 1926 and went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2018. She was saved at an early age and was a lifelong member of Mayes Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Lula Poore, two daughters, Diana Ferguson and Carolyn Ferguson, her husband, Esco Ferguson, two brothers, Joe Poore and Alvis Poore, two sisters Zelphia Hill and Sudie Churchill, son-in-laws, Clayton Brooks and David Thomas, two daughter-in-laws Gloria Ferguson and June Pace. She is survived by the following members of her family; brothers Ray Poore and Beverly (Lorena) Poore and sister Nevada Hypes. Sisters-in-law Betty Poore, Margaret Earls, Ellen Cook, Opal Ferguson and Carolyn Jennings. Daughters Gail Brooks Thomas of Harrogate, TN, Vicky (Danny) Ramsey of Cumberland Gap, TN. Son Roger Ferguson of Acworth, GA. Grandchildren: Sandy (Billy) Saylor, Jamie (Ronda) Brooks, Mitchell (Joy) Ferguson, Jason (Pansy) Ramsey, Kelly Ramsey and Jennifer (Jeremiah) Russell. Great grandchildren: Jonathan and Rachel Saylor, Ethan and Noah Ramsey, Madison and Jacey Ferguson, and Eli and Hannah Reed. Step-great grandchildren: Mikey Bailey and Dustin Whitaker. Special caregiver Linda Fuson. As well as a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be Monday January 29, 2018. Visitation 4:00-7:00 with funeral service at 7:00 at Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate, TN. Graveside service will be Tuesday January 30, 2018 at 11:00 in the Mayes Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Bill Duncan. Reading the obituary will be Rev. Sam Reese. Graveside service will be Rev. Mitchell Ferguson. Singers will be Madison and Jacey Ferguson and the McMurray Family. Pallbearers: Jamie Brooks, Jason Ramsey, Kelly Ramsey, Jonathan Saylor, Billy Saylor and Jeremiah Russell. Honorary pallbearers: Mitchell Ferguson, Ethan Ramsey, Noah Ramsey, Eli Reed, Mikey Bailey and Dustin Whitaker. Coffey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
