Mrs. Leslie Dickerson Begent, 53, of Begeacres, Lake Road, died at home.

She was a member of the Syracuse University Alumnae Club, Chi Omega, the Reconstruction Home Guild and the South Lansing Grange.

She is survived by her husband, Gordon C. Begent; a son, Gordon C. Begent, Jr.; a granddaughter, Leslie Ann Begent; her mother, Mrs. Charles Dickerson; a sister, Miss Marjorie Dickerson, Fayetteville.

The funeral service was held in St. John's Episcopal Church, Ithaca. Interment was in East Lawn Cemetery.

Bearers for Mrs. Begent's funeral were: E.J. Barrett, Forest Mather, John V. Larkin, Frederick A. Wilcox, A.A. Ward and Frank Kellam of Groton.
