Bonham- Howard Louis Porter, age 92 formerly of Midwest City, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Northern Louisiana Medical Center in Ruston, LA where he and his wife were living with their daughter and family. Graveside services with military honors rendered by the United States Air Force Honor Guard will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Philadelphia Cemetery in Gober Community. Bro. David Brackett will officiate.
Howard Louis Porter was born on September 7, 1925 in Wolfe City, TX to William Scott and Luella Avola (Pass) Porter. He served honorably in the United States Air Force and retired after 30 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Ninetta Alice (Graham) Porter; 1 daughter, 2 sons, 6 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and eight sisters and brothers, too whom were long time farmers in the Savoy area.
