SANGER (Special) — Last rites for James N. Hollingsworth, 81, of the Union Hills Community, northeast of Sanger, were to be held today at 2 p.m. in the Sanger Methodist Church. The Rev. Clem Sullivan of Mesquite and the Rev. Boh Shirley, pastor of the Sanger Methodist Church, were to officiate. Sanger's Sullivan Funeral Home was to direct interment in Valley View Cemetery.
Mr. Hollingsworth died Sunday at 7:30 a.m. at his home following a long illness.
Born in Fayette, Ala., on March 23, 1877, Mr. Hollingsworth came to Texas and settled in the Union Hills Community at the age of 16.
He is survived by his wife; four sons, Col. James F. Hollingsworth of Pakistan; Cecil Hollingsworth of Garland, Ross Hollingsworth of Irving and Gerald Hollingsworth of Fort Worth; a sister, Mrs. Martha Robersoa of Santa Fe, NM; and two brothers, W. D. Hollingsworth of Amarillo and J. K. Hollingsworth of Las Vegas, NM.
