Nancy Lavonne Guyer-Cook, 75, of Martinsburg passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the Berkeley Medical Center.
Born March 28, 1942 in Chambersburg, PA she was the daughter of the late David Shetler and Martha Danzberger Goetz.
Nancy was co-chaplain of Highway Travelers for Jesus Trucking Ministry in Greencastle, PA.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Lester Cook; three sons, Vincent R. Guyer, Derek M. Guyer and wife Sheree, Shad O. Guyer and fiancee Tiffany Fox; two step-sons, Kevin L. Cook and wife Kay, Jeffrey A. Cook and wife Jodi; four daughters, Kim M. Schell and husband Daniel, Wanda L. Kyne and husband John, Debra D. Rockwell and husband Bruce, Marina R. Kyne and husband Phillip; two daughters, Lisa A. Cook and Tammy Rehmert and husband Tim; twenty grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, David and Jimmy Shetler; and two sisters, Darlene McKelvey and Sue Linstead.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Norman Richard Guyer in 2012;
two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Linda Long.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 11:00AM at the South Berkeley Chapel with Rev. Reuben Egolf officiating, assisted by Pastor Tom Snyder. Interment will be in Central Chapel Cemetery.
