Paralee was daughter of James Alfred Kirby and Nancy Holmes. She first married James K. P. Tankersley in 1869 and after he died, she married Howard J. Graves. After Mr. Graves died in 1918, Paralee married Neil S. Brown about 1920. Paralee was living with son John Alfred Tankersley in Wagoner OK when she died. Her name was often spelled wrong due to her nicknames of Purly and Parly. Her death certificate has Pearl Lee and her tombstone has Pairlee.
