William Roy Witt
September 20, 1923 - January 3, 2018 William Roy Witt, 94, husband of Edna Sharp Witt, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at his home. He was born in Estill County, KY, on September 20, 1923, to the late James and Ada Richardson Witt. He was a farmer, attended Trinity United Methodist Church and was a United States Army Air Force Veteran of WWII.

In addition to his wife of 72 years, he is survived by daughter, Brenda (Richard) Parido; two sons, Gary (Regina) Witt and Glenn (Jaimie) Witt; seven grandchildren, Amy (Jeff) Walters, Ashley Ritchie, Kayleigh Coldiron, Justin (Samara) Witt, Madison Witt, William Elisha Witt and William Zachary Witt; six great grandchildren, Tanner Walters, Hagan Walters, Kashton Ritchie, Arianna Witt, Gable Witt and Ariel Bailey; sister, Edna Epperson; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Leo Witt, Anna Mae Estes, Corban Witt, Eldon Witt and Donald Witt.

Family would like to extend a special thank you to his caregivers; Shirley Hawkins, Missy Durbin, Amanda Phillips and Brenda Shrout.

Services will be at 10:00AM, Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastor Eric Patterson. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Sharp, Justin Witt, William Elisha Witt, William Zachary Witt, Tanner Walters and Jeff Walters. Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters, great grandchildren and his caregivers.
