The rites for Mr. Barlow, who died at 6 a.m. Friday in his room in Baton Rouge where he was employed as a construction worker, will be conducted by the Rev. Leroy Edge, pastor of the Princeton Baptist Church. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mr. Barlow, a native of Cleburne, Texas, was a resident of Bossier Parish for 34 years. He was a steamfitter and member of the plumbing and steamfitters union and formerly was employed by the Arkansas Fuel Oil Corp. at the old refinery in Bossier City.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Barlow, two sons, Leslie R. Barlow of the U.S. Navy in New London, CT, and James A. Barlow of Haughton; one daughter (living Barlow); two brothers, Thomas Barlow of Shreveport and F. H. Barlow of Los Angeles, one sister, Mrs. L. J. Laenger of Texas City, Texas and two grandchildren.
