Oldest of the seven children born to Laurence Bernard Glynn & Mary Connolly.

Bernard, whose birth name in listed as “Brian” on his Irish birth record, was born in Clara, King’s County (now County Offaly). His family immigrated to the US in 1884, settling in Kane County, Illinois where his father passed two years later leaving Bernard to support his mother & younger siblings.

He married on September 17th, 1893, Kane Co., IL to Irish immigrant Delia Loftus, daughter of John Loftus & Mary Doherty. The couple lived in Aurora, IL where they had two children: Mary & Bernard. His wife Delia (whose name also appears as Delsa & Bessie), born in Co. Mayo in 1863, died in Chicago on 22 Nov 1934 (not on FAG).
