Irish birth records are found for four of her older children, born in Clara, King’s County (now County Offaly) while two others are only found in US records. Her seventh child presumably died young or at birth.
The family immigrated to the US in 1884 when their youngest was a toddler. They settled in Kane County, IL where her husband passed away just two years after their arrival. By 1900 three of her children had married & she was living in Aurora with her three youngest who were soon to wed. The 1920 census shows her living in Aurora with her widowed daughter Delia Moore but incorrectly lists her as Mary Glenn.
