Mr. Alexander died, February 17 in Wichita General Hospital in Wichita Falls. A former drug store clerk, he had resided in Spur since 1938. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Although he was not a member of the Spur VFW, he worked in many of its functions as a willing volunteer as well as other civic activities in the community.
He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Bernice Cochran, Spur; six brothers, W.L., Eastland; Dr. Bob, Spur; Jack, Big Spring; Rex, Jayton; Dr. Ted, Wichita Falls; and Dr. Joe, Abilene.
Pallbearers included R.J. Bell, Wilburn Ball, Ruben Waddell, Frank Hale, Buddy Wright, and Joe Kidd.
Burial was in Spur Cemetery.
