Mr. Terry Lynn Cannon, age 49, of Lenoir, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2012.

Born May 7, 1963 in Burke County, Terry was the son of Peggy Cannon Arnett and the late Felix Perry Cannon, Sr. Terry was a member of the Harrisburg Baptist Church. He was self employed as a landscaper and enjoyed teaching others his trade. Terry loved playing sports, especially golfing and church softball. He liked watching racing and fixing things. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Louise Gray; and a brother, Bobby Joe Cannon.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Lynx Cannon and Lexus Cannon, both of Hickory; his brother's and sisters-in-law's, Felix Jake Cannon, Bruce Cannon and wife Martha, Rex Cannon and wife Shirley, all of Baton, Jerold Cannon and wife Sheila of Lenoir, Wayne Cannon and wife Delores of Boone, Troy Cannon and wife Bernedene of Hudson, and Timmy Cannon and wife Tina of Lenoir; his sister's and brother-in-law's, Phyllis Amos of Roanoke, VA, Joann Gray and husband Don of Baton, Kaye Woods of Winston Salem, and Penny Triplett and husband Roger of Lenoir.

Memorials can be made to the Harrisburg Baptist Church Building Fund at 940 Harrisburg Drive, Lenoir, NC 28645 or to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
