Mamie Avant Earp, 68, of Goose Creek, a retired waitress with the Dock Restaurant, died Wednesday at her residence. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today in Stuhr's Greenridge Road Chapel. Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Earp was born in Walterboro, a daughter of Bill Avant and Nettie Crosby Avant. She was a Baptist and the widow of Robert Coleman Earp. Surviving are a daughter, Billie E. Boone of Goose Creek; two sisters, Helena A. Bailey of Branchville and Carrie A.
