He was a self-employed carpenter.

His wife; one son: Gene Autry Baker (Christine); one daughter: Pam Gupton (Steve); four grandchildren: Matthew Baker, Courtney Baker Burke (Terrell), Bret Baker and Josh Gupton (Brooke); one great-granddaughter: Lexi Gupton; three brothers: Duluth Baker (Jean), Gleason Baker (Bonnie) and Garland Baker (Doris); one sister: Ella Dee Janes (Russell); and a host of extended family members and friends.
