He taught himself the art of Lithography. He was self-employed. He moved from Colorado and bought land at Whitesboro, OK and made his home there. He then moved to Florida to be near his daughter, but decided he didn’t like Florida and moved back to Whitesboro and then Talihina. Here in Talihina he made personalized gold wire name pins and other jewelry. Ed even made his own training video of “how to” create his designs. He also made magnetic signs. Ed Darr was known as the “Master Craftsman” of “Gold Wire Kit King” and had a successful mail order business. It was Mr. Darr’s with to be cremated and to have no memorial service. His daughter Maryannis will take care of his final business. Ed was told several years ago that he had Parkinson’s disease. He had good health and took care of himself up to the end. He just didn’t feel good for several days and died in his home of natural causes. God Bless His Coming Home.
