THOMASTON — Anita Lamy, 87, of Branch Road, formerly of Watertown, died peacefully with her loving family at her side, Friday morning, March 23, 2007, at Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of Henry J. Lamy. Mrs. Lamy was born in Yamachiche, Canada, June 30, 1919, one of 18 children of the late Euclide and Diana (Milot) Houle. She was a longtime Watertown resident before moving to Thomaston seven years ago. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and loved to be surrounded by her family. She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church.
She leaves a son, Raymond Lamy of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; two daughters, Jane Lamy of Thomaston, with whom she made her home, and Theresa Michaud of Thomaston; a sister, Jeanette LeClerc of Punta Gorda, Fla.; eight grandchildren, and 15 greatgrandchildren.
She was predeceased by a grandson, Brian Michaud.
Funeral services will be held at 9:15 a.m. on Monday from Hickcox Funeral Home, 195 Main St., Watertown, to St. John the Evangelist Church for a Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
