Mrs. Josephine Sinclair Jenkins, 74, of Lancaster, widow of James Thomas Jenkins, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born December 28, 1942 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Boyce Atlas Sinclair and Helen Knight Sinclair. Mrs. Jenkins was a devoted mother and grandmother who adored her grandchildren. She was an inspiration to her late husband James, and she was a military wife for over 20 years.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jenkins will be held Friday, December 1st, 2017 at 2 pm at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Messer officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mrs. Jenkins is survived by two sons, James Jenkins II, and Richard Jenkins and his wife Valerie all of Lancaster; two daughters, Teresa Clemmer and her husband Tim and Cathy Jenkins all of Lancaster; two brothers Homer Sinclair of Morganton N.C and Bill Sinclair of Lancaster; a sister Betty L Bailey of Lancaster; three grandchildren, Danielle Clemmer, Matt Clemmer and his wife Danielle, and Bryan Jenkins; step grandchildren Nicole Broyles, Anthony Broyles, and Dustin Broyles. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by a brother Arthur Sinclair, and a sister Carolyn Weaver.
