FULLERTON—Marjorie Gertrude Borgheiinck, 95, of Fullerton, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at Fullerton Care Center and Rehabilitation in Fullerton.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2017, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Fullerton with Reverend David Fulton officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery in Fullerton. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. scripture service on Thursday, November 30th at the church. Palmer-Santin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Borgheiinck was born May 29, 1922 to Fred and Regina (Schmidt) Becker at St. Helena, NE. She grew up and was educated there in her early years. She worked as a waitress and nanny. On June 9, 1947, she married Alfred Borgheiinck in Yankton, SD. They moved to Fullerton in 1955. She spent her lifetime as a housewife. Alfred died September 16, 2009. In 2015, she moved to Fullerton Rehabilitation and Care Center.

She loved sewing, gardening, canning, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include her children, Robert (Karen) Borgheiinck of Grand Island, Janet (Rod) Reckard of Sheridan, WY, Joann (Howard) Vasser of Clarks, Jim (Vickie) Borgheiinck and Ronnie (Rose) Borgheiinck, both of Fullerton, Richard (Arlene) Borgheiinck of Newman Grove, Gene (Ann) Borgheiinck of Fullerton, and Diane Johnson of Casper, WY; 27 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; and sister, Bonnie Logue of Aurora.

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Patricia; son, David; sister, Betty Sayler; five brothers, Vernon, Lawrence, Ralph, Irwin, and Marlin Becker; son-in-law, Mike Johnson; and grandson, Phillip Michael Johnson.
