Ellen "Marie" Smith was the 4th child out of 7 born to John Wesley Smith & Laura "Belle" (Whitley) Smith. Both her parents were born in Texas, however, traveled to Oklahoma and then to California. She was the only "Smith" out of all the children to stay in Texas. She was first married to Edward Jacob Wray; second husband was Jim Allen. Her children are as follows:
