Columbia, Barbara Jane Lentz, 80, formerly of Wrightsville, died on November 14, 2017 at Susquehanna Valley Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Wilton C. Lentz.
Born in Wrightsville on July 7, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Arthur John and Anna Catherine (Corbin) Abel.
She was a practical nurse at both Columbia and Memorial Hospitals. Barbara loved gardening, especially her flower gardens.
She is survived by two children, Michael Lease and his fiancé, Lynette McCullough of York, Karen Ohrel and her husband, George of Columbia; two grandchildren, Miranda Kline and her husband, Duane, Taylor Lease; and two brothers, James and Terry Abel. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, Franklin and Richard Abel.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 700 Hellam Street, Wrightsville. A visitation will be held from 10 until 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
