Teresa Abbate passed away on December 29, 2016 at 84 years old. She was the beloved wife of Michael Abbate. Teresa was the loving mother of Linda Machado and Michele Nicastro. She was the cherished Nana of 7, and Big Nana of 5.

The visitation for Teresa will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Sunday January 1, 2017 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM, and again on Monday January 2, 2017 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. The Committal Service will be held at Canarsie Cemetery immediately following the Funeral Mass.
