Merle Velene Kortright passed away peacefully November 5, 2017.

She was born September 9, 1935 to Isaac and Elmina Allen in Brigham City, Utah.  She was the youngest of six children.

Merle married Donald H. Kortright on March 16, 1956.  Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden Temple on March 1, 1974.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy (Rick) Webster, Kathy (Mike) Burgess, sons, Ken (Kay), Jim (Vicki), Mark (CodyLynn), 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and her sister, Delma Link.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, sisters and her sweetheart Don of 61 years who she has been longing to be with for a very long time.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. 

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
