Barbara was living with daughter Cheryl and son-in-law Morton Hiatt in Monterey County, California when she passed away.
Her Father Fred Tempke died at an early age. He was born in Germany. In the 1900 Census, mother Mary age 35 is listed as a Widow and she and her 3 children, William, Helen "Nellie" and Barbara I. Tempke are living with Mary's parents Barbara [Wunderlich] and John Millmann in Hart, Minnesota.
BOULDER, CO NEWSPAPER JUNE 5 1947 OBIT Sons En Route Here To Attend Father's Funeral: The two sons of Marion Clarence Breckenridge, who died of injuries in the explosion of an apartment house in Denver, May 31, are en route to Boulder to attend the funeral, date of which awaits their arrival. They are Lloyd E., a patient in the Navy Hospital, Oaknoll, Oakland, Calif., and Clair D., in the Navy service in Washington, D.C. A daughter, Mrs. Cheryl A. Hiatt of Bishop, Calif., is here.
Mr. Breckenridge was born Feb. 16, 1877, in Bellmore, Indiana. He was married to Barbara Isabell Tempke, in September 1905 at Joliet, Mont. Mrs. Breckenridge, injured in the accident that killed her husband, is making great improvement in a Denver hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Breckenridge lived in Boulder for three years prior to going to Denver. They came here from Billings, Montana. Funeral services are being arranged by Howe mortuary.
