Janet L. Deets, 62, passed away November 3, 2017 at her residence in Dodge City KS.
She was born January 25, 1955 in Larned KS, the daughter of Merwyn C. and Nadine Nauert Deets. A lifetime area resident, she graduated from Larned High School and attended Fort Hays State University. She was in retail sales for JCPenney at Larned and Dodge City. The last 20 years were spent in the Jewelry Department.
She was a member of the Garfield United Methodist Church and was a JCPenny Associate.
Survivors include: one brother, Don (Tania) Deets, Hays KS; three sisters, Bonnie Bird, Larned, Diana (Dennis) Echard, Oklahoma City OK, Mona (Jerry) Johnson, Angel Fire NM; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned with Rev. Bethann Black presiding. Burial will be at Garfield Cemetery following the service.
