MACINNIS - At North Lake, on Sunday morning, 30th July last, at the advanced age of 76 years, Mary, beloved wife of Mr. John McInnis. Deceased was a native of Cape Breton, and early in life removed with a number of relations to Tracadie, P. E. Island. She leaves a sorrowing and aged husband with a large family, as well as numerous friends and acquaintances to mourn the loss of a christian spouse, an affectionate mother, and a kind and generous neighbor. Her remains were followed to St. Columbia Chapel by a large number of people, where a solemn Requiem High Mass was sung, and the last rites of the Roman Catholic Church performed by the Rev. D. J. Gillis. – May her soul rest in peace.
