Erva Jean Logan, 76, of Manito, passed away at 11:44 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at UnityPoint Health-Pekin.

Born November 29, 1940 in Monmouth to Creed Dewey and Olive Evelyn (Ross) Roark, she married Michael D. Logan on June 6, 1970. He died February 26, 2007 in St. Louis, MO. She was also preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings.

Surviving are three sons, Joseph Roark of Pekin, Jim Wood of Havana and John Wood of Missouri; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister.

A homemaker most of her life, Erva enjoyed working at Casey’s in Manito making donuts.

She loved the Chicago Cubs, playing bingo, baking and spending time with her family.

Erva was a former member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Manito.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Donald “PeeWee” Roark, Dan Wood and Tommy Wood for the special care Erva received over the last three years.

Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no services or visitation. Burial will be at a later date at Meadow Lawn Cemetery in Manito.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Midwest Affiliate, 530 N.E. Glen Oak Ave., Peoria, IL 61637.
