She was the beloved wife of the late Kermit Sheffield. Together for 52 years, they had seven beloved children, Larry Sheffield (Sheila), Jerry Sheffield (Thelma), Don Sheffield (Vietnam veteran, dec.), Wayne Sheffield (Sheila), Johnny Sheffield (Karen), Karen Sheffield, and Steve Sheffield (Tootsie); 13 beloved grandchildren, Scott Sheffield (Wendy), Ami Welch (Shawn), Dana Barker (Jeff), Jeff Sheffield, Jared Sheffield, Annie Sheffield, Traci (H.B.), Biedenharn, Samantha Bullock (Hamilton), Alex Layne, Brooke Rowland (Michael), Krissy Sheffield, Bradley Sheffield (Brooke), and Colton Sheffield; 23 beloved great-grandchildren.
She was blessed to find love again at the age of 70 with the late Charles Havard. They had 7 and a half years together before his passing in 2004.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Friday, October 27, 2017, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until the service hour.
