"Word has been received in South Bend of the death of Miles Plake, age 65, of Los Angeles, Calif., which occurred Dec. 21. Mr. Plake was a resident of South Bend and vicinity for many years, and moved to Los Angeles in 1924. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edith Plake, of Los Angeles; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Ungrey, of Woodland, and Mrs. Fred Lehman, of Goshen, Ind.; one son, Lloyd Plake, South Bend; and two halfsisters, Mrs. Julia Wickiser, of Plymouth, Ind., and Mrs. Truey Weykman, of Yountville, Calif."
