Elizabeth Hamlin is the daughter of Steven Hamlin , Burgess of Charles City, who came from York County and Patented lands in Charles City. In 1664, he was the Burgess for that part of Charles City, which became Prince George.

This Elizabeth Hamlin is the daughter of Stephen Hamblyn, who married Nicholas Jarrett I, son of Charles Jarrett, who is the son of Richard Jarrett, son of William Jarrett, son of William Jarrett. Elizabeth Hamlin married Nicholas Jarrett.
