Mrs. Doris Marshall, 93, a resident of Union City, died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Zion Cemetery near Obion with Stephen Sutton and Jeff Kenee officiating.
Pallbearers will be Greg Ferguson, Rhett McIntosh, Tim Fox, Kenneth Sanders, Ronnie Price, Sammie Price, and Jerry Cheatham.
The family will receive visitors from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Marshall was born on June 20, 1924 in Union City, TN daughter of the late Joe and Cordie (Ray) Wright. After the death of her mother, she was raised by her stepmother the late Willo Mae Wright. She married Charles Preston Marshall in 1945. He passed away on January 27, 2000.
She was a beautician for many years, and a member of Bishop Street Church of Christ Union City.
Mrs. Marshall is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Rogers; three step great-grandchildren; Carlie Kendell, Parker Little, Preston Little.
She was also preceded in death by her grandson, John Rogers, and her brother, George Ray Wright.
