Alma Louise (Stump/Stumph) James, 85, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017.
She lived in Loveland, Colo., at the Courtyard of Loveland assisted living facility.
Alma was born in Blairsville, Penn., on May 22, 1932, to Philip and Gertrude (Dunmire) Stump [Stumph]. She has five brothers and one sister.
She was married to Harold E. James in 1952, for 19 years, in Canon City, Colo.
Alma graduated from Canon City High School in 1950.
She started working as a dental prosthetist in 1971, at three different dental labs in Pueblo, Colo., retiring in 2010.
She is survived by son, Donald A. and Tammy (Thompson) James of Fort Collins, Colo.; son, David and Leah (Cut-shall) James of Evans, Colo.; daughter, Julie and John Williams of Rockwell, Texas; sister, Audrey and John R. McConnell of Grand Junction, Colo.; brother, Paul Stump of Green River, Wyo.; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Alma were her parents, four brothers, son, daughter, one nephew, one granddaughter and one son-in-law.
A memorial service is planned at 9 a.m. Oct. 12, 2017, at the Christ Episcopal in Canon City, Colo. Reception to follow.
Memorial donations may be made to Fremont County Head Start Program.
