Anna was not a daughter of Claus Thiessen, although she used the Theissen name. Claus excluded her as an heir in his will since she wasn't a blood relative.

1895 Iowa Death Register (page 188/985) - Died of Rheumatism (9months). She was buried Aug. 25 (12 days after she died). The register shows she was buried in "Peter Petersen's cemetery".

Gravesite Details

This is a replacement stone as the original was broken. Anna is buried along the center driveway. Her husband, John, is buried in the same row, farther north.
