Mrs. Mattie Luccock, 82, a former resident of Iola, died yesterday at Osawatomie where she has lived for the past 30 years. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Mann who built a hotel on Walnut west of the post office. The building is now used as a shop by Bud White.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Arlene Lucky and Miss Vivian Luccock and a son, Elmer, all of whom live in Florida; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Montealegre and Mrs. Leota Parks, both of Lakeside, Mich.
Services will be conducted by Mrs. Earl Hunter at 2 p.m. Friday in the Sleeper Chapel. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery.
