Born in Young America, Ind. on March 28, 1916, she was the last of a family of four children of the late Boyd and Bertha (Smith) Bechelheimer. In March 1935, at Walton she married Ivan Riley, and he survives.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker she also enjoyed her grandchildren, cooking, gardening, quilting and golfing. She worked in the dietary department of Witham Memorial Hospital from 1964 to 1972.
Survivors are also sons and daughters-in-law Jene and Rita Riley of Bedford, Doyan and Sonya Riley of Washington, Ind., Phil and Brenda Riley of Rockville and Lynn and Diann Riley of Lafayette; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
