Harold Yates, 76, of Vine Grove, KY passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Yates was an active member of St. Brigid Catholic Church since 1965 and the Knights of Columbus. He was owner of Harold's Auto Service, Radcliff, KY for 44 years and he was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Selby & Lorene Yates; two sisters, Sister Mary Esther Yates, Elizabeth Lee Yates

His loving wife of 56 years, Agnes Yates of Vine Grove, KY; two children, Scott Yates & his wife, Sherri of Vine Grove, KY; Ramona Fowler & her husband, Joe of Rineyville, KY; five grandchildren, Danessa Yates, Charlie Pike & his wife, Donielle Pike, Shane Yates & his wife, Crystal, Kelsey Yates, Auburn Yates; six great grandchildren, Tylar, Skylar, Harper, Hudson, Eli, Ruby; four sisters, Mary Rose Ridgley & her husband Fred, Sue Thompson, Linda Buchanan & her husband, Joe, Rene Hack & her husband, Steven one brother, John Andrew Yates & his wife, Gloria; his little dog, Apple; and a host of family & friends.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday and from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM Monday at Coffey & Chism Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. A prayer service will be held at 8:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Yates will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 2, 2017 at St. Brigid Catholic Church, Vine Grove, KY with Rev. Daniel Lincoln officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Brigid Cemetery, Vine Grove, KY
