Ella Mae Haws Terry Smith beloved mother left her earthly body 4 Feb 2008 to reunite with our Savior. She was surely met by all of her loved ones she has longed to see.

She was born 5 Mar 1920 a daughter of George Martin and Martha Henrietta Wall Haws. the youngest of 8 children. On 4 Jul 1939 she married Robert A. Terry (deceased) and from that union came 6 children: Keith, Roland, Donald, Robert, Arthur and Melissa.

Ella later married Van D. Smith (deceased) and they had many happy years together. Ella and Van resided in Alaska for 20 years. During this time she found a passion for horses and became an avid Horseman. She was riding horses well into her seventies, winning many trophies and ribbons.

As a child her home was in Colonia Juarez, Mexico. She was always eager to tell her wonderful stories and share her memories of childhood. She cherished the time she was able to return to Mexico to attend her High School 100 year celebration and once again for the dedication of the LDS Temple. Each time she came back with her heart full of stories and with a sparkle in her eye.

One of her lifetime pleasures was playing the organ for church services.

Interment, Aultorest Memorial Park.
