Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday September 29, 2017 at Hardy-Towns Chapel. Interment will follow in Antioch #1 Baptist Church cemetery.
Mrs. Nicholas was born May 15, 1921 in Eastman, Georgia. She was a graduate of Eastman High School. She was also a member of First Baptist Church and a retired chief operator at Bellsouth and AT&T.
She is survived by daughter, Anne S. Reid; son, Walter Reid Jr. (Susan); grandchildren, Cathy Lafleur and William Alfred Coleman; and sister-in-law, Florene Martin.
She was predeceased by husbands, Walter Reid and Leslie Nicolas; brothers, C.F. Martin, Doug Martin, and Samuel E. Martin; granddaughter, Jeanne Coleman.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
