Alice Alma Reichle was the daughter of Charlie and Selma (Jahnke) Papendorf. She was raised on a farm near Otto, Texas with her five brothers and sisters. On May 25, 1946 she married Grover Reichle and they spent the next forty-nine years together in Falls County, where they raised their two children. Alice was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, a devoted sister and aunt, and the best apple pie baker around. She was courageous and independent, funny and feisty, loyal in friendship, and faithful in prayer. She had a heart for animals, especially her dog Lovey. She was a special person in the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed.
