She had worked at Owens Illinois Bottling Plant in Kanawha City, WV and retired from Smiley's Restaurant in St. Albans, WV.
She was the daughter of Vernie & Cora Mae Morris McClure, who proceeded her in death. Also proceeding her in death was an infant son, Roger Allan Perry and a brother, Rufus Nelson "Rookie" McClure.
She is survived by a daughter, Robin; granddaughter, Michelle Comer; sisters, Clara Belle Pauley of Cannelton, Louise Fugate of South Charleston, Verna Foster and her husband Jack of East Bank and a brother, Cecil Ray McClure and wife Jean of Crown Hill. She is also survived by a sister in law, Jean McClure of Riverside.
As per her wishes, she was cremated and no services were conducted or death notices posted. Her ashes are interred at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow, Kanawha County, West Virgina.
