Christopher Bush was born September 1, 1972. He was the first born child of the late Bro. Bernard and Missionary Jeanette Bush.
Christopher accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Spring Hill M.B. Church and TrueVine M.B. Church. Later he joined Victory Apostolic Faith Church #2, under the leadership of Mother Mamie J. King. It is now known as Victory Apostolic Faith Church-Starkville, under the leadership of Pastor Mildred King-Spencer.
Christopher graduated from F.O. Alexander High School in 1991.
On February 12, 1994, he was united in Holy Matrimony to Joslynn Truss. To this union two children were born.
In August 2014, his love for Harness Racing led him to Maywood, Illinois. Where he started attending, Christ Temple Church of the Apostolic Faith, under the leadership of Pastor Michael Bellamy, until his health failed.
Christopher was called to his heavenly home on the evening of February 2, 2015 at the Gottliev Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Bush; father, Bernard Bush; grandfather, Clifton Brooks; grandfather, Tommy John Bush; grandmother, Zet Lee Bush.
Christopher leaves behind footprints and cherish memories to his wife, Joslynn "Joy" Truss-Bush, (2) daughters, Jasalyn "Pooka" Bush and Jalaya "Doo" Bush; (2) sisters, LaShondia Delk (Mianju), Karla "Coot" Hammond (Lawrence), all of Starkville, Ms; (1) brother, Walter Humphrey of North Carolina; his maternal grandmother, Muggie Lee Doss Brooks of Starkville; best friend, Minister Victor Terry; In-Laws, District Elder Jack Watson and Josephine Watson; and Great Aunt, Ms. Virgina Trunipseed and a host of nieces, nephews, sister in laws, aunts, uncles, friends; who will mourn and miss him.

Mr. Christopher B. Bush, 42, of Starkville, Mississippi died Monday, February 2, 2015 in Chicago, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Truevine Missionary Baptist Church, Starkville, Mississippi with Pastor Mildred King Spencer, Officiating.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 12:00 P.M.- 6:00 P.M. at West Memorial Funeral Home, Starkville, Mississippi.
Burial will follow at Victory Memorial Garden, Starkville, Mississippi.
West Memorial is in charge of arrangements.
