Lorna J. "Sue" Cantley (age 83) passed away May 13, 2006.
Lorna graduated from Rogers High School and worked with her husband in a family-owned meat business.
She was a member and Sunday school teacher of Lidgerwood Evangelical Church, member of Grassroots Citizens and was an avid and creative gardener.
Lorna is survived by her son, Wayne Cantley of Spokane; daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Les Jacobs of Puyallup; grandchildren, Brett Jacobs, Natasha and Daniel Yanez, Bryan and Ha Jacobs, Jason Bray; great-grandchildren, Enrique and Jacob Yanez, Garrett and Ryleigh Bray; sister, Dorothy Gilliam of Seattle; brothers, Loren "Sam" Soper of McMinnville, Ore., Daniel Soper of Boise, Idaho, David Soper of Auburn, Wash.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Rollie; a granddaughter, Naomi Bray; and five siblings.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 20 at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, May 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment at Fairmount Memorial Park.
