Waymon Allen Hilley, 81, died at his home on Shirley Street in Calhoun Falls SC. A native of Elbert County GA, he was a son of the late Henry and Fannie Jones Hilley. He had lived in Calhoun Falls for the past 14 years. A retired textile worker, he attended the Methodist church.
Survivors included his widow, Hattie Childs Hilley; a daughter, Mrs D T Parnell of Calhoun Falls; four sons, T.S. Hilley of Anderson; Bruce, Thomas and James W Hilley of Calhoun Falls; four sisters, Mrs Belle Hall of Greenwood, Mrs Sallie Gillespie of Anderson, Mrs Bessie Fleming of Alma, GA, Mrs Leila Dixon of Augusta, GA; two Brothers, Carey and Bedford Hilley of Elberton GA.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Parker-Payne Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Buchanan officiating. Burial was in Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery, in Elbert County, GA.
