Jewell Kathleen Watson of Arlington, Texas, formerly of Owensville, died Monday, September 8, 1997. She was 93. She was a housewife and a member of the Owensville Baptist church. Survivors include one daughter, Betty Grimes of Arlington, Texas; one brother, Eugene Tillery of Dallas, Texas; two granddaughters, and one grandson. A graveside service, by Ashby Funeral Home, was scheduled for 1 p.m. today at the Owensville Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Wicker to officiate. (from Benton Courier, September 10, 1997, page 3A)
