Alvirta Morris, 93, of Dewey Rd., Havelock died Saturday, September 10, 2016 at her residence.
She is a native of Havelock and a member of Craven Corner M. B. Church.
Her funeral service is 2:00 PM Thursday at Craven Corner M. B. Church 1050 Adams Creek Rd., Havelock. Burial will follow in the Morris Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Jimmy Ray Morris, Sr. of Havelock; four daughters Callie Edwards of New Bern, Sally Mae Budget, Ernestine Morris and Debbie Morris all of Havelock; two brothers, Linson Morris and Wallace Morris both of Havelock; two sisters, Georgia Lee Johnson and Luddie Godette both of Havelock; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and a host of great-great grandchildren.
