Mrs. Harold Roetker
Mrs. Harold C. (Elsie) Roetker of Mattoon died at 4 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. Rev. James Neuman will officiate. Friends may call at Schilling's Funeral Home Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Roetker is survived by a daughter, Sister Mary Melanie, O.P., of Assumption; a sister, Leona Galey, of Mattoon; and two brothers, Dale Knollenberg of Mattoon and George Knollenberg of Temple City, Calif.
She was born in Humboldt Township, a daughter of Rudolph and Minnie (Durdle) Knollenberg.
She married Harold Roetker Aug. 10, 1936, in Mattoon. He died Nov. 27, 1952.
Mrs. Roetker was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She belonged to the Third Dominican Laity of the Sacred Heart Convent.
