Corinne and her brother, Albert (FAG#83548843), were the children of Stanislas Bouvier's first marriage. Their mother, Marie-Elizabeth-Adrienne Brien Bouvier died very young of unknown causes. Corinne was extremely sweet, and very musically talented. For a number of years, she lived at the Metropolitan Opera House, and sang opera under the stage name of Carole d'Arcy. Among other places, she sang at Carnegie Hall and Town Hall in NYC. She also coached other opera singers - among them was world-famous Marian Anderson. Corinne also was a concert pianist, and one of the first women conductors in the U.S. She was proficient in many languages. She was divorced from her husband, George J. Ernst and never remarried. After leaving NYC, she moved back to Miami, FL where her son and daughter-in-law, Donald O. and Patricia W. Ernst and their children lived. She lived there the remainder of her life. She was extremely sweet, fun, fascinating, and had a lot of characters in her life - in sort of an "Auntie Mame" way - and was adored by her family.
