The baby would have been born after the 1880 census was taken. The census was enumerated on 12 June 1880. It is my opinion that the child did not live long after birth and was not yet given a name.
Although there is a record of the death in "The Levi Absher Ledger" there is no known burial site for this child. This child was placed in the Dehart Church Cemetery where the parents are interred until hopefully a burial site is known.
"The Levi Absher Ledger" published by the Wilkes Genealogical Society. This book can be ordered from the Wilkes Genealogical Society.
