Rosa Anna Grice, 610 S. Jackson St., died on Monday evening, Oct. 14 at the Ashley Nursing Home at the age of 87. She was the daughter of Paul and Ruana (Wilson) Lauchnor, born on Aug. 31, 1904. She was married to John W. Grice. They lived south of Mulberry many years until her husband died in 1943.

Mrs. Grice was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church, Oxford Class, Eastern Star and Isaak Walton League.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Samuel Smithers, Clark's Hill, and a niece, Mrs. Paul Galin of Lafayette. A sister, Alice Burkhalter, preceded her in death; also a brother who died in infancy.

Services were held on Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home. Rev. Adlos officiated and burial was in Bunnell Cemetery.
