Hosea's grave is unmarked. From the May 17, 1923 issue of "The Florala News": Mr. Bud Cawthon and sister, Miss Josephine Cawthon returned from Gulfport, Miss., this past week, bringing with them the body of their brother, whom they buried in Greenwood Cemetery, here. Hosea was the son of Hosea Ballou Cawthon, Sr. and Clara Brown. Clara's place of burial is unknown.
